The space Our guest house is surrounded by 82 acres of trees and open pasture land. Cattle currently roam and you may be lucky enough to see new babies being herded by their mamas. A spring-fed creek is located behind the house and flows to a stocked fishing pond, so bring your pole and pull up a stump to see if you get a bite. Walking/biking trails (2.5 mile loop)trek through the property and it's common to see deer traipsing through the meadows. If sticking close to "home" is more your style, enjoy the outdoor fire pit, patio seating or indoor comfort of tiny house living with everything you need to curl up with a good book or movie and cook up a meal in the full kitchen. Guest access Guests have access to guest house and outdoor area immediately around guest house as well as walking trails, creek and pond. We ask that guests do not go beyond gates that are closed. Twice a year, Grandview hosts Antique Alley Texas, a huge trail of flea markets, food trucks and general business sales and festivities spanning roads from Waxahachie to Cleburne and beyond.
